New Feature - Not Required

Training and competence should be straightforward, but it often gets complicated when workers have to complete requirements that don’t actually apply to their roles. This can lead to confusion, wasted time and inaccurate progress tracking.
To fix this, we’ve added a new feature that allows admins to mark specific requirements as not required for individual workers. When a requirement is marked this way, it no longer counts toward the organisation’s training and competence calculations, and it’s clear to everyone that the worker doesn’t need to focus on it.
Why does this matter? Because it helps everyone stay on the same page. Workers can focus on what’s truly important for their development, and admins get a clearer picture of training progress without irrelevant tasks skewing the results. It’s all about better communication, less confusion, and making sure that training and competence are as effective as possible.
